The Necropod
Christian Ristow and RoboChrist Industries
| This is the Necropod. This machine was
built in two weeks for the Sci-Fi Channel for a show called "Man
vs. Machine." There were only three people on the design and
fabrication team. The machine is fully functional and fully mobile via
wireless control. The show concept was to build a security robot for a junkyard. The question posed to the viewer is "What might happen if artificially intelligent machines decided to turn on their creators?" |
